The National Auctioneers Association (NAA) has announced that United Country Auction Services was named winner of the 2010 NAA Marketing Competition in the business promotion and advertising/public relations categories. The company received awards for a multi-property auction news release, as well as auction printed materials (multi-color, farm machinery and equipment).
The public relations component of the winning commercial multi-property auction marketing campaign was integral in generating excitement about the auction before, during and after the event. In addition, top-notch design and concise messaging conveyed in the farm machinery and equipment winning entry is indicative of the United team’s deep talent pool in overall auction marketing design and execution.
The NAA’s annual marketing competition allows its members located in the United States, Canada and across the world to highlight their innovative creations from the past year and vie for top awards for their marketing and advertising materials. The 2010 competition was sponsored by USA TODAY and included more than 1,000 entries in more than 100 categories in three divisions: photography, advertising/public relations and auction of the year.
Two United Country affiliates also earned top honors. United Country – The Redfield Group of Gadsden, Ala., earned awards in the one-color newspaper/magazine advertising and residential real estate catalogs divisions. In addition, United Country – Bonnette Auction Co., LLC, of Alexandria, La., achieved top honors in the automobiles postcards division.
All winners will be formally recognized during the NAA Marketing Competition Awards Reception, which will take place tomorrow at the 61st International Auctioneers Conference and Show in Greensboro, N.C.
